First Presbyterian Church of Athens, Ohio, welcomes you! Our sanctuary is located in downtown Athens, at the corner of Court Street and Washington Street. We provide a place of worship and growth for all seeking to understand and strengthen their relationship with God. Our loyalty is to Jesus, and we seek to understand and to follow his teachings. First Presbyterian Church is committed to serving our Appalachian community as well as to active participation in mission projects in Central America, Africa and our sister church in Thailand. The church is active in Hanging Rock Cluster, the Presbytery of Scioto Valley, and the Presbyterian Church (USA)
